Finance and Administration Committee

THAT the presentation by Mr. Donald Troup regarding a dispute of an Open Air Burning Fire Department Fee be received as information; AND THAT staff be directed to prepare a report for the next available meeting of the Finance and Administration Committee regarding the request that the invoice to Mr. Troup be rescinded.

THAT Report CS 15-32 regarding a Property Standards By-law Update be received as informatio,n; AND THAT a public information centre be scheduled on February 9,2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Council Chambers regarding the proposed by-law update; AND THAT a formal public hearing be scheduled during the February 22,2016 meeting of thre Finance and Administration Committee to receive comments from the public regarding tlher proposed by-law; Finance & Administration 3 January 25,2016 AND THAT a final recommendation report be returned to the March, 2016, meeting of the Finance and Administration Committee.

THAT Report CS 16-02 regarding the 2016 Tile Drainage Loan Program be received; AND THAT Council confirm its intention to participate in the Tile Drainage Loan Program for the 2016 calendar year with a maximum municipal aggregate borrowing limit of $90,000 and with the appropriate by-laws being presented to Council, if required, upon confirmation of program funding by the Province ofOntario.

THAT report FD 16-02 be received for information. AND THAT the purchase of one (1) set of Hurst hydraulic rescue tools from Code 4 Fire and Rescue at a cost of $29,870.00 (plus tax) be approved in accordance with the Town's Purchasing Policy.

THAT report FD 16-03 be received for information. AND THAT the purchase of one (1) new 2016 Ford F-250 Supercab 4x4 pick-up truck from Ed Learn Ford at a cost of $28,802.00 (plus tax) be approved. AND THAT the vehicle be equipped with truck cap, decals, emergency lights and equipment at a total cost not to exceed the approved capital budget allocation of $35,000.00.

THAT report FD 16-04 be received for information AND THAT the purchase of 28 sets of firefighter bunker gear from PPE Solutions lnc. at a cost of $44,716.00 plus tax be approved. AND THAT the purchase of 15 pairs of firefighter boots from The Boot Shop at a price of $5,325.00 plus tax be approved. Finance & Administration 4 January 25, i2016 AND THAT the purchase of 15 firefighter helmets at a price of $3,980.20 plus tax from A.J. Sk¡ne Company be approved.

THAT Committee adjourn to closed session in order to address a personal matter about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees (a matter pertaining to a resignation from the Public Library Board).

THAT Committee resume in open session.

THAT Council accept, with regret, the resignation of Mr. Murray Cluff from the Town of Lincoln Public Library Board; AND THAT recruitment of a new board member commence in accordance with Council's Appointment to Agencies, Boards and Committees Policy; AND THAT recruitment for a vacancy on the Town of Lincoln Municipal Heritage Committee be undertaken in conjunction with the Town of Lincoln Public Library Board Recruitment.
