WHEREAS at its meeting of November 8, 2016, the Council of the Town of Lincoln ratified the Minutes of the October 24,2016, meeting of the Council Business Planning (Committee of the Whole) which included Motion No. CBPCW-2016-35 adopting a Mixed Use and Residential Community lmprovement Plan for the municipality; AND WHEREAS at the said meeting of November 8, 2016, the Council of the Town of Lincoln also enacted By-law No. 2016-72 to designate a Mixed Use and Residential lntensification Area as a Community lmprovement Project Area and By-law No. 2016-73 to adopt a Mixed Use and Residential lntensification Community lmprovement Plan; AND WHEREAS Section 17 .(23.1) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended, requires that a Council must provide notice that contains a brief explanation of the effect, if any, that any written and oral submissions had on Council's decision regarding the matter; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Town of Lincoln advises that, in reaching its decision to approve the Mixed Use and Residential lntensification Community lmprovement Plan, Council considered all of the written and oral submissions and agrees with the planning report analysis and recommendations and finds that the Community lmprovement Plan meets the Planning Act criteria, is consistent with the Provincial Policy Statement and complies with the Growth Plan, the Niagara Region Official Plan and the ïown Official Plan.
