THAT Report CS 17-06 regarding 2018 Municipal Elections Alternative Voting Technologies be received as information; AND THAT the Clerk be directed to proceed with the conduct of 2018 Municipal Elections including the use of optical scan vote tabulators; AND THAT Council accept the proposal from Dominion Voting Systems for the leasing of vote tabulators and associated software for the 2018 Municipal Elections as outlined in the report; AND THAT a by-law authorizing the use of alternative voting methodologies in the 2018 Municipal Elections be presented to Council for ratification. AND THAT a report re: internet voting costs be returned to next Finance and Administration Committee meeting.
