Committee of the Whole

THAT the appeal by Stefanie Day regarding an order served on or about July 7, 2020, under the Town of Lincoln By-law # 2019-18 to muzzle a mix-breed dog be received; and THAT staff be directed to prepare a report regarding the appeal and the submission made by Stefanie Day at the hearing held on this date December 9, 2020; and THAT the report be returned to the Committee of Whole meeting in January 2021 for consideration and a decision in accordance with Council’s normal procedures.

THAT Council receive for information, Active Transportation Citizen Advisory Committee Minutes from September 17, 2020.

THAT Councillor Russell, Chair of Committee of the Whole – Budget and Councillor Pachereva, Vice-Chair of Committee of the Whole – Budget continue with the 2021 Operating Budget meetings until completion of the 2021 Budget process.

THAT Council approve the Calendar of Meetings for 2021 as set out in Appendix “A” of Report LS-08-20 as amended.

Under section 239 of the Municipal Act, notice is hereby given, THAT Council adjourn to closed session in order to address item 7.3 as follows: Pursuant to the Municipal Act, Section 239 (2) (b): Personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees as it pertains to confidential report AD-10-20 regarding the Lincoln Public Library Board.

THAT Council resume into open session.

As it pertains to item 7.3: THAT Council receive for information an update by the CAO, Mike Kirkopoulos and CEO of the Lincoln Public Library, Julie Andrews; and THAT staff proceed as directed in accordance with the confidential report AD-10-20.
